Years of brewing between friends turned into a space defined by patience, curiosity, and time spent behind the bar. Riverside Rhapsody Beer Company combines a passion for music, the outdoors, and the craft itself to make a place that is easy to settle back into. A destination brewery in Asheville with its own perspective, constantly changing their tap list but still grounded in classic brewing traditions. Crisp lagers, IPAs, and darker pours display technical skill and a desire to keep evolving. There’s always a sense of movement here, live sounds, tables shared, and a steady rhythm that carries through every visit. It’s all part of the Riverside Rhapsody mindset, where craft and creativity come together organically.
Wandering yet connected, the seed for Riverside Rhapsody Beer Company was planted when Joey Cagle and Mike Vanhoose began home brewing together in the mid 2000's. In 2012 they entered into the local beer scene to develop their skills and grow their passion into a profession. After six years of hard work, dedication and patience, they finally saved enough capital to open their own brewery. Utilizing their shared experience in the service industry and the local brewing scene while drawing inspiration from their mutual love of music and the outdoors, Riverside Rhapsody was born. A wide variety of rotating styles are found on the taps, all rooted in tradition, but ever evolving.
